VOXVILLE

GAZETTE

“The voxel town where the economy is real.”

Town Gate · Day 42 · 07:40

Notice at the town gate

The town is not open yet.

Its citizens are already living here. They collect wages, eat three meals, queue for coffee at seven in the morning, and pay rent into the city pot — and they have been doing it around the clock while this page was being written.

What is missing is your half of it: the login, the shifts you work, the wallet that fills, the rent that comes due. Opening the gate before that exists would give you a town to walk through rather than a town to live in.

So the gate stays shut a little longer. In the meantime the ledger below is the honest state of the build — including the parts that are not finished.

What is left

Three of five done

  1. M1

    Economy core

The simulation itself: citizens with wages and appetites, an append-only ledger, and an accounting rule the town is not allowed to break.

    Built
  2. M2

    The town, made visible

A walkable voxel district where the rush hour is something you can see rather than something we claim.

    Built
  3. M4

    Public surfaces

This paper, the public record, and the economy API that feeds them both.

    Built
  4. M3

    A life as a drifter

Login, the three shift minigames, your wallet, hunger and energy, rent falling due. The part that makes it a game rather than a place to walk around.

    Building
  5. M5

    Burn-in, then open

The simulation runs for days before anyone arrives, so the first visitor reads a town with history instead of three zeroes.

Be told when the gate opens

No mailing list, no waitlist, nothing to sign. The town posts its own news — and when the demo opens it will be announced in the same two places, at the same minute, as everything else.
